It was great to see the turnout for the reunion!   Don, Barb, Paula, Doug, Dave, and the rest of the committee talked about if we would get a good showing this year, and you did not disappoint!   After 40 years, who knew how many would attend.   We certainly came from many different places to get back to the Falls for this event.   From Dennis Bowen coming from Russia, to a whole group of you coming from the west coast, to all the southeast folks, to the "locals", we took time to come from everywhere to share this weekend together.

I wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to the website with their words and pictures. You guys took the time to do that, and that is what made this site so special.   To answer your questions, the website will stay up indefinitely, in the hopes that it will be a continuously live site, full of new information each time you visit.   There are about 225 people listed in the "Then and Now" as of this writing.   What if we could get 500 or more?!

So, if you have not shared your story, please do. If something changes, please tell us.   If you know someone who is not in there, bug them till they put it in!   And, as always, if you need help, just ask!

Thanks again for supporting the reunion; I look forward to another visit to the Falls in a few years!

What a great time, wondeful to see everyone that showed up. Got to see my old buddy AL Pritt and of course Pam Stanford. Sorry if we told the Bomb Shelter story one to many times but it's true and funny. Had a great day at the golf course, our team did not do well but we had fun. Several times in my back swing Fred Patterson would remind me of the Bomb Shelter and that was the end of that shot. Well to all of you, including the ones who could not make it, God Bless you and hope we can get together again soon. I am all for 5 years instead of 10. If there is anyone that I didnt get to see please send me an email, I would love to hear from you.

Wow! What a great weekend! It was too short a time for me, but what a wonderful couple of days. I miss it already, though.

It was awesome to step back during the weekend and watch how happy everyone was and all the positive vibes that were out there. We definitely had a special group of people in our class, we grew up in a great town in great times, and we went to a great school. It kept occurring to me how lucky I was to have such great people around me growing up - and how much I've missed those people over the years. All the legends and stories became reality again.

I hope we all take advantage of this weekend and remain in touch either through the website or directly. I feel badly for those who couldn't make it this time - and hope things work out for our next get-together. For those who decided not to come for one reason or another but could have attended, please reconsider next time - you don't know what you're missing!

It was good to spend time with you too!

What's great is that we are all in essence the same kids ithat we were four decades ago, in spite of all the events of our lives since then. How else can you explain it? We've only improved with age - and isn't it wonderful that all the pretense is instantly gone when you see an old friend who "knew you when"? It's like an extended family reunion. I'm just sorry there wasn't more time.

I don't think anyone could have asked for a more perfect weekend. Thanks to Mark and Don for all the hard work. And the rest of the committee. It truly was remarkable to see one and all. We carried the festivities onto Sunday, after brunch at the Sheraton, at Sarah's Vineyard to see Marlene and Eric. Still had a lot of snacks and they let us bring them in. What a great place to finish the weekend.

Missed seeing John and Kay Putman, and Kathy Jordan. Must have had good excuses why they could not attend. Like Marlene and Eric had.

I laughed so hard playing golf with Frank, Fred and Al(who married Diana Stark), and yes, we did mention the bomb shelter more than once. We even managed to use everybodys golf shots. More than once, somebody pulled off a great shot that we could use.

Now, Eva and I were thinking that in addition to another reunion in 5 or 10 years, of having some sort of a cruise vacation reunion. 5 or 7 days on a cruise. We know that not every one would want to do one, but their was some interest when we discussed it with a few people. If that appeals to you, just let me know. Our classmate, Jerry Jensen, just happens to book cruises.

Dave the cruise sounds like a great idea ! PS: Will there be alcohol served LOL. Where ever the cruise would be we should play golf again so you guys can abuse me a little more. If you get a cruise going let me know.

Absolutely there will be copious amounts of alcohol onboard our cruise ship. LOL. We have never been on a cruise before, and I heard the idea from some others, so we floated the idea around and got a few positive responses. It is not meant to be the "official" reunion. Just in addition to.

I think that would be a terrific idea for a "reunion" cruise (as well as a 5 or 10 year reunion), and we know Jerry as our Cruise Director.

On reflecting on our reunion, even though it was very short for me to scoot up for the mixer on Friday, it truly was a fun experience. I wish I could have seen Mary (Maher) Bell, but at least I did get to say HELLO to Barb Howard, Pam Politz and many others, as well as give Bettina a big hug!

So let's all get this economy straightened out, say some prayers and look to the future!

Kudos to the Reunion Planning Committee! This could not have been a better event - even the weather cooperated! It was great to see so many people come back "home" for this reunion. The Committee worked very hard on this weekend and it was certainly a great success. I think this website- thank you Mark and Don - had a lot to do with so many people coming to this weekend! The casual format was terrific. Sorry some folks could not get away to attend - I think they really missed a good party! There were good vibes and everyone had a ball that I spoke with - and can't wait for the next time whether 5 years or 10 years! Again - thank you to the Committee - GO TIGERS!

WOW! what a great time. If you missed it so sorry that you did. It was a wonderful time and I only attended Friday but I am sure the rest of the weekend was great. Its so good to step back and relieve such a wonderful time in our life. And a big THANK YOU to Don Mark Paula Bettina and the rest of the committee. You all did a superb job. Thank you all so much for all you did.

To the class of "68",
      I went to the ten year and hadn't gone to any other reunions. Now, I wish I had. You (everybody) were GREAT! I thought nobody would be interested in talking to a guy who has been a teacher for 34 years, but I was wrong.

Found myself thinking a lot about the past weekend and what fun. The weekend flew by and only regret not having more time to talk to everybody. Loved the casual atmosphere and seeing everybody enjoying themselves. Thanks to the committee and web site people. What a magnificient way to keep in touch with each other. Go class of 68 TIGERS!

What a great time!! It was a great weekend for me and I was sorry to miss Saturday. I was so excited that I got to see Kathy Andrea and Denyise Patterson after almost 40 years. We have promised to keep in touch and I found out that Denyse and Charlie live within 20 miles of us. Thanks so much for all the memories and the coordination and time it took to pull this 40th reunion off. It was wonderful to see everyone.

Hey classmates, that was quite a fun reunion weekend, wasn't it? Thanks to all. OK, so some of us made it a fantasy trip..... Anyway I figured out how many are still in the area and I'd love to hook up again. I'm planning on heading to the Falls Friday October 24th to attend the Gemboree Show (gems and rocks) Saturday the 25th. We girls like our rocks. I don't know the show hours yet but it is at Emidio & Son Expo Center 48 E. Bath Rd. Saturday and Sunday. They call over 55 seniors so we all qualify for the $3 admission! The sponsoring club's web site is http://www.lapidaryclubofohio.org/ The web site wasn't working well when I just looked but check back.

Not sure how many of you remember Judy Kiehart but she went to school with alot of us until about the last 2 years where she transfered to Field High School and graduated there. Judy passed away Oct 15, 2008 after a battle with cancer. Judy grew up just down the street from me and Al Pritt.

Hi everyone. The reunion was a great time and it was good to see so many old friends. Don Pesich and Mike Meneer and I are going to Tangiers in Akron on 12/19 at 9 pm to see Gary Grimes' Beatle band and would like to know if any one else is interested in going.I have a table for eight and will make the 5 available tickets a first come basis.Cost is 32.50 per.The band is always a good time& There should be other tix open by calling the Tangiers. Sorry I'm so tardy at expressing my gratitude for the the totally successful class reunion. I enjoyed every second of the two evenings. I designed my game plan ahead of time to talk to everyone I knew well, and to do the same for those I never knew at all. I attended alone so I could do this and visit at my leisure. It was so fun seeing others do the same and I felt the groups,who were so tight in school, were scattered and making new friends. Thats pretty darn successful Mark and Don, and all of you committee members!! I haven't been able to stop thinking about how fun it was to cheer the Black Tigers and being at that football stadium full of memories. Many didn't witness Chris Hart and Roger Evans yelling the same cheers our cheerleaders once led us in 40 yrs ago. They were so cute as the night wore on and it got colder. Those two grey haired "older...distinguished" looking men were sitting there freezing their butts off till the last second of the game with a cute little BLANKY over their legs. It was a Kodak moment for sure. Thanks for the momories , all of you, for a reminder of a huge chunk of our life spent at that school.

I just talked to my sister who still lives in the Falls and works for Summit County just told me that one of our classmates has passed away over the past weekend.  Its Marcia Whetsil.  She was at an Ohio State party and fell down a flight of stairs and hit her head there was no brain activity.   She was our head majorette and had retired from working for the city of Akron a year ago.  What a very sad story.   I thought I would let everyone know.  Debby Crow (Cunningham)

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. It was so great to see all of you at the Reunion in October. If I missed saying hello to you, please know that the whole committee is grateful for the great turnout. Would love to see all of you again real soon. I think many said that 5 years was a good timeframe for the next reunion. The cruise idea is a good one too! In all the hustle of organizing stuff I didn't get to spend nearly enough time chatting with all of you. As Mark has said, we still would like to see everyone register on the website, so if you run into anyone who's not on here, tell them to register!!

Seeing what happened to Marcia really lets us know that we all need to live each day to the fullest and enjoy our families and friends What is I wish for all of you in 2009 is great joy!

Hey Don and MArk ..Glad you have put this site up and are trying to get a party together. I have a lot of the old info from our last formal one and would be glad to start checking out some old addresses with you. Also could try to fine others in the area to help. If anyone wants to work on this from here in the Cuy Falls area let me know. I bet I could twist Dave Hanna's are ...it might hurt his old body but it would work I think...Also HEY!!! Bettina ...HELP ME OK ? lol email me if you would like to help on this ..and thanks to Don and MArk for this too ..

Fred, thanks for offering to take on tracking people down from the home base. Don and I really could use some help, and would love it if some folks took this on. This website can have more features if we need it, but the most challenging part of this is just to find the people after all these years. I am really encouraged however that after only 48 hours, we have so many hits already. If you can start getting people contacted, and we can have them fill in the Then and now page, this thing will take off. I think too that the website will encourage people to participate in a live reunion if we have one. Run with it Fred, and thanks for the help!

Good job, Mark. I'm looking through boxes of stuff I moved all over to see if I can find anything from then. Did find the 1966, 1967 and 1968 Cuyahogans and a program from 1988 Reunion. Somewhere in this pile of stuff is our group photo from then as well. And, horrors!, came across a formal or two photo, maybe the prom.

In the Classmates photo album, I placed the big photo of the class reunion. I also scanned each quadrant separately so you might be able to find yourself a little easier.

We're going to have a reunion this fall - I'm sending some information out later this week - at least the dates. Whatever we do, it will be informal. The hardest part of this is finding people and earlier we find people the better.

I looked you up in the yearbook - remember the face but we never really knew each other. after all, it was a big class. But I do remember teepeeing the school that nite. the cops put Debbie Shyrock in the back of their cruiser....then someone let her out when their backs were turned. we were such rebels!!!! Pretty tame stuff considering what goes on now.

I was the guy who kept bugging you to be my girlfried in 3rd grade at Richardson Elementary. We were in Mrs. Knisely's class together, and you thought I was a real dud. I was probably persistent to the point of being obnoxious. A new kid came into our class about mid year - Gerald Quaint - and any slim chance I might have had getting you to notice me was history. I've managed to recover from that disappointment, but it took me a while. :-) Glad to see that you are still with us.        It is so funny you mentioned third grade. I certainly remember Gerald Quaint cuz you were right....I had a major crush on him..Don't you remember when you had the boy-girl party?   I think you only invited 4 girls. If I remember right it was me, Marilyn thomas, joanne steiner and I think Sherri Shattack? I know you have to remember this because you and another boy collided in the yard and it really stunned you and kind of put a damper on the whole event.

      I don't remember you liking me in third grade by I know I saw Gerald's obit in the paper a few years back. I'm almost positive it was him. He never continued through school with us but he was the right age and all.

     I read your bio....it was cool to read about you after all these years. I'm really glad you wrote.

     Let me know what else you remember from the Richardson days. I went to the 30th reunion and actually have a picture of those of us that went to Richardson. I'll dig it out and let you know. I remember Denny Corado was there.

Thanks very much for your reply. Yes I do remember that birthday party - or should I say I barely remember it. Roger Owens and I collided chasing each other around my house before the party started. My mom said I wasn't right in the head again for another 2 days. Sorry about putting on a dud of a party. :-)

Here are a couple of other tidbits I recall from Richardson....

The "in" crowd for the boys was Bruce Nelson and Bobby Shoemaker. I was thrilled to be in their company when they named officers for the crossing patrol guards. Bruce was named captain (blue badge) and Bobby and I were named lieutenants - red badges. I thought I was really hot stuff wearing that badge!!

I recall you, Sherri Shattuck and Marilyn Thomas as the popular girls. I can't recall whether you were in my early grades - I had Miss Tanney for first grade and Mrs. Bittinger in second. Mrs. B. took time to read us Charlotte's Web in class - I enjoy the story to this day.

Multiplication tables were the big challenge for me in Mrs. Knisely's class.

Fourth grade was Mrs. Moody, and then my memory gets cloudy, although I remember having a big time crush on my 5th grade math teacher (can't remember her name).

I think Mrs. Glossinger was my 6th grade teacher, and she told us as we were graduating from Richardson that the halls at Bolich were going to seem really big compared to Richardson. She was right - I was pretty intimidated the first few weeks of 7th grade. One of the 8th grade bullies initiated me the first week at Bolich - lipstick all over my face, in my hair - it was a bit humiliating.

You lived in Valley Vista near what was the Cathedral of Tomorrow, and pretty near Jim Rutherford, who I completely lost track of. His dad had him involved in go cart racing which I thought was way cool. I don't think he was part of our '68 graduation class.

A boy named Terry (?) was the class troublemaker. He also lived in the Valley Vista community.

On a somber note I remember the awful thing that happened to your sister - it shook everybody up in the Falls that something like that could happen in our sleepy little suburb.

I saw on the "In memory of" page that Marilyn Thomas passed away some time ago. I am saddened to see how many of our Class of '68 brethren are no longer with us. It seems like quite a few, and Mark Noonan still has about 275 people to find, so there will be more. Maybe the number of early deaths isn't that unusal given that we had a high school class of 750+.

Noonan and Darrell Floyd were my best buddies in high school, and I loved going to the Friday night football games at Clifford Stadium. None of the students really watched the game - it was an opportunity to "hang out". The Tiger Marching Band was awesome - made my skin tingle when they marched onto the field.

I've been in Cincinnati for 31 years, but have made it back to the Falls occasionally for family events, funerals, etc. I will be the first to say that I haven't been good about staying in touch with my CFHS buddies - no excuse, the years just slipped by.

You weren't the only one who got the lipstick treatment - as I remember, we ALL did - if they caught us! It was the "INITIATION" ritual at Bolich for years. Keep a watch out in the Photo albums - I found my Bolich yearbook - 1964-65 - and I'm going to scan the entire thing and post it. We all used the word "tuff" a lot back then - "you've got a tuff P.A...."etc. Funny stuff!

      I wanted to tell you I see Bruce Nelson all the time. He has worked at Acme here in Akron for years.   I spoke to him about six weeks ago. When I see him next time I will tell him to get on this site and that we have been in touch.

     Terry's last name was Stover. He was the bad boy at Bolich. We use to call hima "hood"   I mean really.....I think he was smoking over by the water tower or something.

      Oh yeah, and one more thing about Marilyn. It still bothers me to this day about her death. She had breast cancer and to die at such a young age and leaving 2 sons behind was a heartbreaker.

      There are so many more people I would love to here about again. Great trip down memory lane....but I have to tell you. I never feel "old" I love life and having a blast. Hope everyone is as fortuate as me.

Roger Evan's is asking 'WHO Snitched the BlackTiger? I can say for sure it was not me if you are talking about the nite we all T-PEED the High School after graduation. I spent most of that that nite with a few of my buddies in the Silver Lake Slammer for we had copped a Stop Sign there, stuck it out our rear window and got caught in route to the school. I will not say whose brilliant idea this was, they need to fess up themselves.

Darrell-berg, I remember the stop sign caper like it was yesterday. I think it might have been my brilliant idea to lift the stop sign. Why did we think no one would notice it driving around with half of it sticking out the back seat window? I think our judgement might have been a bit clouded that night. Come to think of it, that wasn't the only time we did something using questionable judgement. It sure was fun.

Also, in all my days I have never seen a tree with so much TP on it as that night we celebrated graduation. The kids in my neighborhood are amateurs when it comes to TP-ing a tree! Howard "Bergman" Jinkinson

Dorene, the best way for you and everyone to help is to get everybody you know to log on and register, preferably in the "Then and Now" section like you did. So, call Susan back, and tell her to log in!

Hi! Thought of you as we toured the Falls a couple of months ago. My parents are very good friends of Dick Cunningham and we went by his old house on Broad Blvd. I know you used to be neighbors.
Leslie is living in California. Her mom passed away 2 months ago, and I brought my parents to the Falls for her mom's memorial service at Redeemer Lutheran (our old church). Lesle hasn't changed at all. She looks great.

This was a great idea, and thanks to Mark and Don. I have not only been lucky, but also blessed. I have been married to the same woman for 35 years. (Yes, she IS a saint to put up with me) We have 3 adult kids, 2 girls and a boy. I am entering my 34th year of teaching and I have been at the Field Local Schools (5 miles south of Kent) for 14 years. The reunion is a great idea and I am definitely looking forward to it. Does anyone know where Mark Erwin is? He still owes me some money!

I just got the movie we made "Robin Hood and His Merry Men" from Bob Capes who has held it in protective reverance for over 4 decades now. I am going to have it converted to a digital format and placed on a DVD. If this is the movie you were thinking about. It was filmed at Gorge Park by Dennis Bowen's dad, Owen Bowen. Doug Riggins is in it as is Tim McKinnon, Bob Capes and I, and a cast of perhaps 20 other guys, including I think Pat McVan. It was made to escape actually doing a science project, as I recall. I've wanted to get my hands on this and see it forever. Hope it turns out.

Pat McVan and Myself were with Doug Riggins when he was killed in a tragic bicycle accident the summer between 9th and 10th grade. We rode our bikes (with a couple golf clubs) to Sycamore Golf Course on Akron-Peninsula Rd. Took Theiss Rd. to Northampton Rd. on the way back. Pat was in front, Doug in the middle and me in the rear. Doug did not make the sharp turn at the bottom of the hill. Traumatic for his family and all who knew him. I live near that site and think about Doug and that day often. Speaking for Pat and myself, the longest bike ride home...ever.

You know I just need to throw this out there for everyone to know and to see if any responses can be gathered. Mark Noonan had a 350 Chevy Nova with a 4 speed Munsie. I had a 383 Dodge Corenet with a 4 speed Hearst. Mark would get me most of the time when we would drag down in the Valley, I had a tendencey to blow 2nd gear on the Hearst due to th long throw, plus the sun was always in my eyes. We were not the only ones. Where are you Guys?

I remember well that 383 Dodge Coronet with the Hearst 4-speed. It was hot!! Stripped down trim package but it could fly!

I'm sure you'll recall the lesson we learned about mixing radial and bias ply tires. We spun that car several times while doing the Kent bar scene one weekend, and then almost wrapped it around a telephone pole on our way back to the Falls. We're lucky to be here sharing these stories!

You also had a 350 Honda scrambler that you could do wheelies on for a whole city block. You were living on the edge!

I was just looking at the "In memory Of" list and was sorry to see that my childhood friend Ralph (Lynn) Thompson had passed away. We had so many good times together growing up. We played softball together and one day he was in left field on a nice clear afternoon and he was hit by lightning. Everyone said what's wrong with Lynn his hair is standing straight up. He then fell to the ground and was taken to the hospital. The Beacon Journal article said it was a miracle he survived.

Has anyone see or heard from Alan Pritt, another childhood friend. I would real like to see Alan in October.

And last I have always wondered what ever happened to Lori Frazee, her locker was right next to mine and we sat across from each other in study hall. We went to the Senior class picnic together. That may have been the last time I saw her.

OMG. Nobody has mentioned anything about WaterWorks. We spent all of the summer there, swimming, playing soccer or football in the grass. Playing cards during the breaks. And what about the teen splash parties. What a blast to have grown up in the Falls in the late 60s. Lujan's drive- in on State Rd. Another fond memory. Don Scott in his Mustang, just driving around the Falls. I actually met Don for the 1st time at a splash party. He went to Sill and I at Bolich. Played on the soccer teams, and I asked him to be my best man 38 years ago. And how about all of us from Newberry. Closed now, but we were the 1st ones to graduate from there to go to the big school up the hill, Bolich. Scary.

On a serious side...I just picked up John's book, Shatterproof Your Marriage. Even though it's a book directed to married couples, I know the info in it will help with all relationships. If not for you, I'll bet some of our kids could benefit from it. Even though I'm not finished with it yet--it's definitely not a quick read--I can tell he's done an outstanding job on it. It's well-written, interesting, easy to understand and filled with a lot of wisdom. And, no, he didn't ask me to plug his book! He'll read this the same time you do. Thanks John!

Take a few minutes to read the Special Tribute page. I remember George Carlin's skits as some of the funniest I ever heard (along with Monty Phython's Flying Circus and early Sat. Nite Live). Some real words of wisdom from George about aging gracefully, and what is really important in life.

Ok, classmates, it is 58 or so days till the reunion, and we are still looking for 140 of our friends.   The reunion dates are set, the plans are being made, but we need to make sure we don't miss somebody getting the message.

So, we have a favor to ask.   Go to the Lost Classmates section, and look down that list.   Can you see ONE person you can help us find?   If you know someone there, give us their address, phone number, or email, and we will contact them.   Know their family members? Maybe they can help.

Please help us to make sure we have nobody say "I didn't know about the reunion".   Many of you have done this already, and we appreciate it.   Just a few more......

Oh, yeah, and isn't it fun reading all the stories?   There are more out there, and we could use a hand.

       Of course I remember Mustang...that car use to get me in alot of trouble. My stepfather would check the mileage when I was going to the "library". I finally learned how to unhook the speedometer so he couldn't keep track of me.

Speaking of the A & W...I remember one night we were there after a football game. Right after the food was put up on the window tray, Bob Feller (pretty sure the name is right) was backing out of the space next to us, and somehow he hit the gas and lurched forward into Sally's car. We were pitched forward and hit the front of the car across from us. Luckily no one was walking in between at the time and no one was hurt (as far as I remember). I remember being disappointed in loosing our order as we were really hungry and didn't have any more money to replace it. Was anyone else there that night that remembers that?

Ted Troxell lived at Searl and East Broadway,and Mary Gowey and her brother Jim lived across from him. Just around the corner from him on Cook St. was Dennis Gartman, and Dan Phelps on Germain. Bob Lutz and Dan Coy were close also. Gail Huston was on Windsor and Roger Evans on Victoria. We had many more in the immediate vicinity. Searl was the hub of the area. FYI Sill school was built on the 9th hole of the old Searlhurst Golf Course. At one time we had 8 people in our class living on Searl alone. I somewhat remember you, but am a little fuzzy about which house you lived in

For those of you staying in the area on Sunday, a bunch of us are going to a place called Sarah's Vineyard on Sunday afternoon at 2:00. Marlene and Eric Czetli will be back from their trip to NYC and they would love to see some of you. I'll be at the Registration tables and can give you more info. Sarah's is out right across from the main entrance to Blossom. It should be a beautiful Fall Day and the more the merrier. We can bring our own food, buy food there and the wine is very good! If you know for sure that you will be coming on Sunday, please stop by and let me know at Registration so I can give an estimate to the vineyard as to how many we think may be coming. We wouldn't want them to run out of goodies now would we! Looking forward to seeing you this weekend at as many events as possible.

I don't know about you but my doctor told me to get more exercise. I am planning one of my favorite hikes for reunion weekend from Bab Run following the Gorge upstream to the Sheraton starting at 11:00 Saturday. I recall it to be about a 2 hour hike. So far, Bettina and Diane are joining me. We'd welcome any to join us. It's predicted to be a beautiful Fall day.
I'll be at the registration table at the Nat if you want to work out a meeting place and transportation.

To all of those that were unable to attend be sure to check out the photos. Just a mere sample of the good times everyone had.
The reunion was an absolute blast. Good to see everyone. Thanks to all that helped put the weekend together and this great site. Wish all of you continued success and a happy and healthy life. Can't wait until the next time we have a change to get together.

It was great of all of you who put in all the hard work to make the reunion a success. We only attended the football game till half time and then went to Johnny Malloys for a while. Just had surgery on my foot and was unable to walk very much and didn't really feel like much socializing. As you can tell from the picture I was there in a wheel chair. Not my favorite thing to do. But the love of my life makes things so easy and he pushed me all over in the wheel chair.
Great to see all of you again.

WOW!!! What a wonderful weekend, Gary and I can't stop talking about all the people we saw and stories we heard :)!! Thanks Don, Mark, and everyone else who worked on the reunion committee. Casual format was great---just what we wanted. We really need to have a 5 year!! Best part of the weekend was seeing Bill Reeves after 30+ years! Biggest disappointment was not seeing Bev Becher!! Guess those birthday parties got a little crazy!

Hi to all,

This was the best weekend ever, I had so much fun connecting with everybody. The weather was great, the plans were perfect, and just plain fun.

I met people I did not know and really found them fun and interesting. We all shared a special time in history, and all those memories we have in common

The high-schoolers sure don't look the way we use to look!

You- the reunion committe-are rock stars. Thank you for all you devotion.

I would love to stay in touch with everyone. As for the cruise, I get the booze, but does that mean bathing suit??

You would look better in a bathing suit than I would. A cruise would not be instead of the "official reunion". Just in addition to. We could leave from just about anywhere. 3-5-7 days. We have never been on one. Just too busy.

I do not see my comments and I can not contact people that I want to. It keeps giving me diferent codes to enter, and I do and then it gives me different codes

Mary, each time you reply or send an email to someone from this, you have to enter the security code at the bottom. This prevents people from sending to everyone with advertising, etc. And, yes, the code will be different each time.

If you want to send to someone in the "Then and Now", the same thing happens. Put your name, email address in, and the security, and type your email. It will get to them!

It was truly a wonderful evening. To all who planned the reunion, you did a great job.
I do have one question. Frank Foti.....when did you get so tall? Or have I just shrunk.
I saw a few references to Pam Stanfords shelter............did I bring it up one too many times? If so......oh well.....just wish I had been the one to bring her presents and went into the shelter with her....just kidding Pam.
No more shelter references.....promise.
I do want to say all is not fair.
Everyone I talked to saturday didnt seem to age at a similar rate as me. Whats that all about.
I knew all was right with the world when the first two people I saw were Barb Howard and Cathy Williams, just as in school. Just as pretty too.
I must apologize.....again....to Charla, didnt realize your class ring was somehow mixed in to the ceramics project in Mr. Simons ceramics art class.
Anyway .......glad to have seen so many classmates last saturday.......already looking forward to the next time. see you then As always......Al Pritt

I hope this comment appears, I have tried to submit 3, guess I am challenged.

Its was the best weekend . It was like christmas as a little kid. Every tiime you turned around there was another wonderful present, and all the surprise that surrounds a wonderful gift.

Everyone was excitied to be there, and all the old memories came flying back. It was so fun to see people who really know what it was like to be a part of the Falls, back when there was a lot of innocense. The Falls football game high schoolers sure don't look like we did.

Best to all, I hope more will add to the Then and Now site, it is wonderful reading about everyone.

   Just wanted to say my husband Wayne and I had such a good time that I was a little let down when it was over.

   Sure do wish that alot more people would have showed up. Maybe they will read this and register at the then & now section.

   Thanks to all the people who said I hadn't changed a bit since high school.....reallllly!!!! love to believe that....it was a nice ego booster. everytime someone said it my husband stood there and rolled his eyes. What does he know, I've only known him 14 years and all my old friends forever.

    I think a cruise would be a hoot. I look forward to it.

Donna, it was great fun, eh? I think a lot of folks travelled great distances to attend, and everyone who did really enjoyed themselves. I think as people see the reunion pictures, read the blogs, they might be more tempted to attend the next time around. But, for those of us who were there, it was great to see that you have not changed one bit!

This is so exciting!! I have been one of the lost classmates for all these years and just found this site.
My best memories of high school years were being in the band and all the fun we had.

I would like to find Lee Phillpott. He was a neighbor and I have no idea where he might be now.

It is late but now that I have found this site--I would really enjoy chatting with classmates from long ago.
I am glad to hear the reunion was so wonderful!!

Wow you all looked so amazing. Pam Politz and Bettina Percocco. Don Pesish you look great and Larry Thompson from my home room who would have known you would be sooooo handsome. Of course Bob Capes and Lynn look fabulous. Margie Gowden. I am sooooo sorry I couldn't make this one. Did anyone even miss me? Probably not.....They say if you stick your hand in a glass of water and pull it out the hold it shows is how much your missed.... .
